Anita Gelman brings a lifetime of creative endeavors to the Matrix team.  Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Anita received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Michigan, and did graduate work in Paris and London.  Upon moving to New York, she did graphic design for Vogue Magazine, and then pursued a career in Cosmetology.  Anita worked as a stylist for a number of New York’s high-fashion salons, and for film and television respectively. She also taught Cosmetology, authored a book, and then transferred her skills to L’Oréal.  After gleaning much knowledge at its Technical Salon, Anita then became a writer for Matrix in 2008.  She enjoys utilizing her creative, educational and technical skills at the Matrix C.R.A.F.T. Global Academy.
